What's In My Travel Makeup Bag?

Hey Everyone :-)
Simon and I recently got back home after a lovely trip to PiteĆ„, Sweden with a bunch of our friends. I thought I would do a post and show you what beauty products I took with me on our weekend trip to Sweden. I always tend to over pack every time we go on vacation, but I think I did pretty good this time. Let me know what you think in the comments down below :-)

♥ Benefit The Porefessional, Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream, Maybelline Fit Me Concealer & Make Up For Ever HD Powder.

♥ Urban Decay Original Naked Palette & Wet n' Wild Coloricon palette in Greed.

Glitter Gal Australia Nail Polish in Pink Zinc: Review, Photos & Swatches

♥ Glitter Gal Australia Nail Polish in Pink Zinc.

Description:
The latest craze but we think neons never go out of style. A beautiful creme nail polish. Dare to be bold and brighten up your look with these statement colours. Do not contain Formaldehyde, DBP, Toluene, TFR, Camphor.

My Thoughts:
Glitter Gal Australia's nail polish in Pink Zinc (AUD $14.95 for 15ml/0.5oz.) is a pretty medium neon pink. It's very easy and smooth to apply. It's a little sheer on the first couple of coats, but it didn't apply streaky or look patchy on my nails.

It dries matte like most neons do. I'm not a big fan of the matte look, so I always like to finish the look with a good and shiny top coat. My favorite top coat is the Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat, it's a must have in my book. Pink Zinc is fully opaque in three coats.

Doesn't the square shaped bottle look cute? I think it looks really pretty and very decorative. It's got the Glitter Gal logo in black on the front of the bottle, and a little sticker with the name of the shade on the bottom of the bottle. The nail polish brush is easy to work with, but I do find it to be just a little bit thinner than what I prefer my brushes to be. I love thicker nail polish brushes, because I think they are easier to work with, and I feel like they give me more control when I'm applying my nail polish.

Overall, I think Pink Zinc is a wonderful nail polish. I have been obsessed with neon nail polishes for the summer, and I'm happy that Pink Zinc is now part of my nail polish collection. It's such a beautiful, fun and vibrant shade, which brightens up any look and is perfect for the summer :-)

Lime Crime Opaque Lipstick in Centrifuchsia: Review, Photos & Swatches

♥ Lime Crime Opaque Lipstick in Centrifuchsia.

Description:
Recklessly loaded with pigment for maximum impact, Lime Crime opaque lipsticks come in a rainbow of statement-making shades to underscore your individuality.

My Thoughts:
Lime Crime's Opaque Lipstick in Centrifuchsia ($15.99 for 0.12 oz/3.5 g.) is a bright fuchsia with a satin finish. It's very easy to apply, and it feels nice and smooth on the lips. It's highly pigmented, moisturizing and it last a while on my lips, before I have to re-apply it. It's got a sweet vanilla scent, which is similar to the lipsticks by MAC.

Lime Crime are known for their bright and fun shades, and Centrifuchsia is no exception. I'm a neutral lipstick kind of girl, but sometimes I like to step out of my comfort zone and rock a bold lip. Centrifuchsia comes in a purple tube with Lime Crime's logo and signature unicorn on the side of the tube. I'm head over heels in love with the packaging. I think it's so adorable, fun and super girly :-)

♥ Lime Crime Opaque Lipstick in Centrifuchsia.

Overall, I really like Centrifuchsia. It's highly pigmented, the shade is pretty and it's long lasting. If your not comfortable with wearing really bright shades like this one, you can make it more wearable by dabbing it on your lips for just a wash of color. It's a great way to make brighter shades more wearable, and it's something I do quite often :-)

MUA Makeup Academy Power Pout Color Intense Tint & Balm in Crazy In Love: Review, Photos & Swatches

♥ MUA Makeup Academy Power Pout Color Intense Tint & Balm in Crazy In Love.

Description:
Available in six rich bold shades from chic nude ‘Rendez Vous’ to deep rich rasberry ‘Broken Hearted’, our new colour intense lip tints will ensure your lips will look good enough to kiss! MUA Power Pout is a lip treatment with colour intensity that relieves dry, cracked lips providing immediate moisturisation. The handy pencil-style applicator provides easy to apply sheer soft lip colour and rolls up for easy use.

My Thoughts:
MUA Makeup Academy Power Pout Color Intense Tint & Balm in Crazy In Love (£3.00 for 12M.) is a lovely berry toned balm stain with a golden sheen. It's very smooth and easy to apply, and it feels nice and soft on the lips. The pigmentation is great and it's also very moisturizing, which is nice if you have dry lips like myself. Crazy In Love gives my lips a nice tint of color and a pretty glossy look.

It comes in a deep burgundy and silver tube. It has a twist up mechanism at the bottom of the tube, so you don't need to sharpen it. I think this is such a brilliant idea, because sharping these type of products can be quite messy. You also don't waste any product either, which is always a huge plus in my book :-)

♥ MUA Makeup Academy Power Pout Color Intense Tint & Balm in Crazy In Love.

♥ MUA Makeup Academy Power Pout Color Intense Tint & Balm in Crazy In Love.

Crazy In Love has that same minty scent and taste, like most of these type of tinted balm stains (Tarte LipSurgence Natural Lip Lusters and Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains) have. It also has a cooling effect as well, which I find very refreshing. The color last a while on my lips, before I have to re-apply it again. The shade of the balm isn't the exact same shade as the on you see on tube, so keep that in mind before you order online. I do recommend that you look up swatches online before you order, so you won't get disappointed when you receive them.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the Crazy In Love Power Pout by MUA Makeup Academy. The shade is really beautiful, the pigmentation is wonderful and it feels nice and moisturizing on the lips. If you love berry toned lip products, I'm sure that you are going to like this shade a lot. The quality is great and it's such a handy little lip product to just pop in your handbag for touch ups :-)
