MAKE UP STORE FUSION COLLECTION: REVIEW, PHOTOS & SWATCHES

Today, I have seven products from the new Make Up Store Fusion collection to share with you. The Fusion collection is Make Up Store's Valentine's Day collection, which features a palette of fuchsia and rose bud colors. The collection consists off a bunch off really pretty products. Everything from marble eyeshadows, lip glosses, eyeliner, mascara and a pink lip pencil to a pretty pinky coral nail polish, a pair off false eyelashes, a microshadow and a handy little bag for your makeup brushes.

Let's go on and jump right into the collection! :-)

♥ Make Up Store Fusion Collection.

 ♥ Marble Eyeshadow in Volcano.

 ♥ Marble Eyeshadow in Volcano.

Marble Eyeshadow in Volcano ($25 for 3g/0.106oz.) is a gorgeous marble eyeshadow with hints off blue, pink, black and peach. When all the shades are swirled together, they create a pretty purple grey.

♥ Marble Eyeshadow in Blue Venato.

Marble Eyeshadow in Blue Venato ($25 for 3g/0.106oz.) is a beautiful marble eyeshadow with hints off turquoise, navy blue and silver grey. Together they create a beautiful teal grey.

♥ Lipgloss Wand Duo in Clematis.

♥ Lipgloss Wand Duo in Clematis.

♥ Lipgloss Wand Duo in Clematis.

Lipgloss Wand Duo in Clematis ($25 for 10ml/0.35 fl oz.) is a pretty lipgloss with two shades off red swirled together in the tube. The two shades off red create a beautiful brownish red, which I absolutely love! Clematis feels very comfortable on the lips. It's a little sticky, but nothing too crazy.

♥ Led Lipgloss in Hot Pink.

♥ Led Lipgloss in Hot Pink.

♥ Led Lipgloss in Hot Pink.

Led Lipgloss in Hot Pink ($20 for 7.5gr/0.26oz.) is a baby pink lipgloss with shimmer. It's quite sheer, so it's great to use on top off lipsticks to give them that extra oomph. It's a little on the sticky side, but still wearable.

Hot Pink has a led light function, which activates every time you open up the tube. I think it's such a fun and cool idea, and it makes applying lipgloss a bit more fun! :-)

♥ Volume Mascara.

 ♥ Cake Eyeliner in Darkgrey.

 ♥ Cake Eyeliner in Darkgrey.

♥ Cake Eyeliner in Darkgrey.

Cake Eyeliner in Darkgrey ($26,5 for 0.07oz.) is a dark grey powder eyeliner. I like that it's dark grey and not black, because black can look a bit harsh. It creates a very natural look, so it's perfect for everyday.

♥ Eye Pencil in Not So Dark.

♥ Eye Pencil in Not So Dark.

Eye Pencil in Not So Dark ($19.5 for 0.04oz.) is a black eye pencil with shimmer. It's very creamy and opaque.

Overall, I really like the Fusion collection from Make Up Store. My favorite items from this collection is definitely the marble eyeshadows. They are so beautiful and very pigmented, I almost didn't want to open them up and use them, LOL! I also like the Lipgloss Wand Duo in Clematis. The shade is beautiful! The swirl design is very pretty and quite unique for a lipgloss. The swirl design doesn't get messed up after it's been used, which I really like! :-)

Where to buy?
The Fusion collection is available at Make Up Store's website and in stores as well.

Note:
Make Up Store is cruelty free. Their products doesn't contain any perfume, which makes the whole range allergy-friendly as well.

THE LIPSTICK TAG

I came across this fun tag called The Lipstick Tag over at Jules's blog For Vanity's Sake. I'm a teeny bit obsessed with lipsticks, so I thought it would be fun to jump on the band wagon and do this tag as well. Who doesn't like a good old tag post every once and a while?

Let me know if there are any other tag posts you would like me to do, I would be more than happy to do them. Let's move onto the questions, shall we? Here we go! :-)

1. How many lipsticks do you own?
I currently have 127 lipsticks in my collection! :-)

2. What was the first lipstick you owned?
I can't remember my very first lipstick, I think it might have been one from L'Oreal Paris . I used to steal my mom's lipsticks before I got really into makeup, LOL.

3. What is your favorite lipstick brand?
There are so many good ones, so it's impossible for me to just pick one, LOL. Some off my favorite lipstick brands are NYX Cosmetics, Revlon and L'Oreal Paris. Milani Cosmetics, Rimmel London and YSL make great ones as well.

♥ L'Oreal Paris Lipstick in Fairest Nude (HERE).

4. What is your most worn lipstick?
Definitely Fairest Nude by L'Oreal Paris! I've gone through several tubes off that lipstick. It's such a pretty, wearable nude, which doesn't wash me out since it's a bit on the darker side.

5. What is your favorite finish?
I have always been a big fan off the creamy, shiny finishes!

6. What was the last lipstick you bought?
I just recently picked up two off the H&M Lip Pens in Cherry Lips and Natural Beauty. I'm very excited to try them out and see how they work. Both shades look very pretty.

7. How many lip products do you currently have in your bag?
I currently have the Rimmel London Lasting Finish by Kate lipstick in 08 Rossetto and a bunch of EOS lip balms in my bag. Love me some EOS lip balms, LOL! :-)

8. What is your favorite red lip color?
I have never been really into red lip colors to be honest, but if I had to choose one it would have to be Red Velvet from the Revlon Lip Butter range. It's more off a darker red based brown, very pretty and crazy pigmented!

 9. How do you store your lipsticks?
I store my lipsticks in a Muji drawer. I also have a couple off acrylic lipstick holders that I got from a store called Søstrene Grene. I absolutely love them! :-)

10. Which lipsticks are you currently lusting after?
I'm currently lusting after Kinda Sexy by MAC and the Revlon Lip Butter in Sorbet.

♥ MAC Lipstick in Kinda Sexy (HERE) & Revlon Lip Butter in Sorbet (HERE).

Tag... you're it! If you have already done the lipstick tag, please leave your link in the comments down below because I would love to check it out :-)

What do you think about the lipstick tag? Have you done it yet? :-) Love, Christine♥

SWATCH OF THE WEEK VOL.6: BEAUTY UK LIPSTICKS IN SNOB, IN THE BUFF & PLUMALICIOUS

Today, I have three pretty lipsticks from Beauty UK to share with you. I just recently received these in the mail from Beauty UK, and I wanted to show you some swatches and share my thoughts on them as well! Let's jump right into it! :-)

♥ Beauty UK Lipsticks in Snob, In The Buff & Plumalicious.

The Beauty UK lipsticks come in a black tube with a little sample off the lipstick on top off the cap, as well as a little name sticker on the bottom. The Beauty UK logo is on the front off the tube, along with a cute little heart. I like that they have added a little sample off the lipstick on top off the cap. A lot off brands are doing that, but the sample is usually on the bottom off the tube. I love that Beauty UK have added it on the top, makes them stand out a bit from the rest! :-)

♥ Beauty UK Lipstick in Snob.

Snob is a pretty pinky mauve with a satin finish, HERE.

♥ Beauty UK Lipstick in In The Buff.

♥ Beauty UK Lipstick in In The Buff.

♥ Beauty UK Lipstick in In The Buff.

In The Buff is a pretty, rosy pink with a creamy finish, HERE.

♥ Beauty UK Lipstick in Plumalicious.

♥ Beauty UK Lipstick in Plumalicious.

♥ Beauty UK Lipstick in Plumalicious.

Plumalicious is a deep purple with a creamy finish, HERE.

They are build able, very pigmented and they have a minty scent to them, which is similar to the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains. In The Buff and Plumalicious glide on the lips like butter. Snob has a more thicker consistency and it's a little on the drier side compared to In The Buff and Plumalicious, but it doesn't feel uncomfortable on the lips. Snob is very similar to Snob by MAC. Snob by MAC is a more pink compared to Snob by Beauty UK.

Overall, I think that the Beauty UK lipsticks are fantastic. The quality is great, they feel great on the lips and they are affordable as well, which makes them even more awesome. My favorite one is definitely In The Buff. It's such a pretty rosy pink, great everyday shade! :-)

WISHLIST VOL.1: URBAN DECAY, OPI, SLEEK MAKEUP, BENEFIT, SALLY HANSEN, ZOYA & SEPHORA

Online shopping is my favorite way to shop, especially when it comes for beauty and fashion related things. One off my favorite stores is eBay. My eBay watch list is filled up with everything from shoes, handbags and makeup to jewelry, cute iPhone cases and nail art supplies. Unfortunately, there are also a lot off fake products on eBay. I always make sure to check out the seller's feedback and rating before I make a purchase. I have been pretty pleased and happy with most off my purchases so far, but there have been a few misses along the way.

Other online stores that I really enjoy besides eBay are Cloud 10 Beauty, BeautyBay, BeautyJoint, Lookfantastic and Sephora. Whenever I'm ordering from Sephora, I use a mail forwarding website called Shipito to get my items shipped directly to me. Shipito is very easy to use, the shipping isn't too expensive and the delivery time is pretty good. Shipito is the only mail forwarding website that I've tried, and I'm very happy with how it works! :-)

I thought it would be fun to show you some off the items that I'm currently lusting over. Here we go! :-)

♥ Urban Decay Naked 3 (HERE), OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around (HERE), Benefit Hoola Bronzer (HERE) & Sally Hansen Insta Dry Top Coat (HERE).

♥ Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Foundation (HERE), Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation (HERE), Zoya Nail Lacquer in Payton (HERE) & Sleek MakeUP i-Divine Garden of Eden Eyeshadow Palette (HERE).

What items are on your beauty wishlist at the moment? See anything here that you want to try out? :-) Love, Christine♥

A.DORN NAILS NAIL PAINT IN TIPSY GYPSY: REVIEW, PHOTOS & SWATCHES

♥ a.dorn Nail Paint in Tipsy Gypsy.
a.dorn Nail Paint in Tipsy Gypsy ($11.00 for 0.5 oz/15ml.) is a multi-tone glitter of pink, blue, and green. It's got a pretty thick consistency, but it's still quite easy to work with. You can build it up and make it as opaque as you want, which I really like. If you want it to look exactly like how it looks in the bottle, you definitely need to apply a couple off extra coats. It dries quickly and it's completely opaque in three/four coats :-)

♥ a.dorn Nail Paint in Tipsy Gypsy.
Overall, Tipsy Gipsy is a lovely glitter nail polish. I really like how fun and colorful it is. It looks very pretty paired with Age of Aquarius, which is another lovely nail paint from a.dorn. You can check out my review and swatches off Age of Aquarius, HERE.

I prefer to use Tipsy Gipsy on top off other nail polishes, or as an accent color on my ring finger. I only wish that the brush was a bit thicker, because it makes it easier to distribute the glitter on the nails and get it to look more even :-)

♥ You want a vegan friendly and cruelty free nail polish.

NAILS OF THE DAY: VALENTINE'S DAY

Happy Friday! How are you doing today? Do you have any Valentine's Day plans? Simon and I are going out for dinner later, then maybe catching a movie tonight. We both want to go and see The Lego Movie, it looks really fun. Have you seen it yet? We'll see what we end up doing, nothing is final yet!

It's been a while since I've played around with nail art! I wanted to put together a cute look for Valentine's Day. I fell in love with this beautiful look, so I wanted to re-create it and share it with guys. This is my very first time trying out nail art water decals, and so far I really like it. There are so many fun and cute designs to choose from, definitely want to get my hands on some more designs :-)

♥ Quirky Infinity Shaped Ring Shiny Gothic Ring from Born Pretty Store, HERE.

I decided to finish off the look with this pretty, golden bow ring from Born Pretty Store. It's such a pretty and romantic ring, which I thought went perfectly with this nail look. What do you guys think?

SWATCH OF THE WEEK VOL.5: NCLA NAIL LACQUERS IN AS IF, LIKE TOTALLY VALLEY GIRL & SANTA MONICA SHORE THING

A while ago, I was contacted by the lovely Jennifer from Bollare who represent a bunch off really fabulous brands. She sent me a little beauty care package filled with some lovely goodies. Three pretty, pastel nail polishes from ncLA were a few off the items that were hiding in the box.

ncLA is a brand that is quite new to me. I have seen their nail polishes reviewed and swatched on different beauty blogs, but I have never actually tried them out for myself. So I thought I would swatch the three shades that I got for you today, and also share my opinion on them as well. Here we go! :-)

♥ ncLA Nail Lacquers in As If, Like Totally Valley Girl & Santa Monica Shore Thing.

♥ ncLA Nail Lacquer in As If (HERE).

♥ ncLA Nail Lacquer in As If (HERE).

As If ($16.00 for 15ml/.5 fl. oz.) is a pretty pastel purple with a creamy finish. It's easy to apply. I did find it to be a little sheer on the first coat, but it didn't look streaky or patchy on my nails. It dries quickly, and it's fully opaque in two coats.

As If is similar to Little Girl Type by MAC, which is one off my favorite pastel purple nail polishes!

♥ ncLA Nail Lacquer in Like Totally Valley Girl (HERE).

♥ ncLA Nail Lacquer in Like Totally Valley Girl (HERE).

Like Totally Valley Girl ($16.00 for 15ml/.5 fl. oz.) is a light pink with a creamy finish. Like As If, the application was very easy and I didn't notice any streaking either. It's a little sheer on the first coat, but nothing too crazy. It's such a pretty and girly shade, which dries quickly and is fully opaque in three coats.

♥ ncLA Nail Lacquer in Santa Monica Shore Thing (HERE).

♥ ncLA Nail Lacquer in Santa Monica Shore Thing (HERE).

Santa Monica Shore Thing ($16.00 for 15ml/.5 fl. oz.) is a pretty light pastel green with a creamy finish. It's very thick, smooth and easy to apply. It's not sheer like As If and Like Totally Valley Girl, and it didn't go on looking streaky or patchy either. It dries quickly and it's completely opaque in two coats.

♥ ncLA Nail Lacquers in As If, Like Totally Valley Girl & Santa Monica Shore Thing.

Overall, I really like all three shades here, but my favorite one is Santa Monica Shore Thing. I'm a big fan off those pastel blue/mint green shades, it's just something about those shades that draws my attention. Santa Monica Shore Thing is a real stunner, and I can't wait for spring and summer to arrive so I can wear it more often. You can check out the entire ncLA nail polish range HERE! :-)
